Like colours on chamelions
And when you think you got’em figured out they go and change on you because

Their melodies just run around and make the world sing
They show up just the way they are
With truth, time, and open hearts
And don’t require permission for dreaming, or for wishing
And all of a sudden without you knowing somehow they take you right back to the beginning because

Each and every one of them truly are distinct
Just like snowflakes and fingerprints
Or magicians and their bags of tricks
They exhibit immortality through multiple personalities
